Delhi Court Remands Mumbai Terror Attack Accused Tahawwur Rana to 18 Days of NIA Custody
A Delhi Court on Thursday demanded 26/11 a terror attack accused Tahawwur Hussain Rana! After years of legal battles in the US, Rana has been extradited to India and is now in the custody of the National Investigation Agency (NIA).

Late last night, at around 10:45 PM, he was produced before a Delhi court amid tight security, where NIA sought 20 days of custody. The Court granted 18 days of NIA custody after a hearing that stretched past 2:15 AM. But who is Rana, and why is his extradition so significant?

Rana is a Pakistan-born Canadian national and a close associate of David Coleman Headley, one of the masterminds behind the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. Headley had scouted locations for the deadly attack that claimed over 150 lives. Rana tried every possible legal avenue to avoid extradition—filing multiple appeals in US courts, including the Supreme Court—but each one was rejected.

Now, after relentless efforts by Indian agencies and coordination with US authorities, Rana is finally on Indian soil, facing justice. Will this bring more revelations about the terror attack? Stay tuned as the case unfolds!
