Supreme Court Registry Cautions Public About Fake Sites Impersonating Official Website
The Supreme Court of India has issued a public alert about fake websites impersonating its official site and tricking people into sharing personal and financial information. The Court emphasized that it never asks for such details and urged the public to stay cautious.

The Registry has flagged these phishing attacks to law enforcement agencies to investigate and hold the culprits accountable. A list of fraudulent websites, such as www.scigoin.com, www.sclcase.com, and others, has been shared in the notice.
The fake websites are stated to be operating via the following uniform source locators (URLs):
www.scigoin.com,
www.scicbiovven.com
www.scigoinvon.com
www.judiciarycheck.in
www.scis.scigovss.net
www.slcmain.in
www.judicialsearchinia.com
www.sclm.in
www.scin.in
www.scibovven.com
www.cbisciingov.com
www.govt.judicialauthority.com
www.thescoi.com
www.sclcase.com
www.lx-yindu.top

Visitors to these URLs are strongly advised not to share any information, as it could be stolen by scammers. The Supreme Court clarified that its official website is www.sci.gov.in. People should always verify URLs before clicking and report any suspicious activity. If someone has fallen victim to these scams, they are advised to change their online account passwords immediately and notify their bank or credit card company of any unauthorized access.

During a recent PIL hearing, it was revealed that fake emails, seemingly from the Supreme Court, were sent to about 10 IAS officers to join court proceedings. Justice Hrishikesh Roy expressed concern over this misuse of the Court’s name and instructed the Registrar to investigate. The Supreme Court has urged the public to remain vigilant and verify all communication to avoid falling prey to such fraudulent activities.
